The SureSight portfolio includes Ambu® SureSight™ Connect, a video laryngoscope which consolidates our trusted airway visualization platform, and Ambu® SureSight™ Mobile, a handheld video laryngoscope that you can use on the go.

The whole platform is designed to work together. As you move through the airway management algorithm, you can simply plug and unplug the SureSight video laryngoscope and other key airway visualization devices to/from the Ambu endoscopy system as needed. Having one integrated airway visualization platform offers many advantages:

With the dual view feature in the aView 2 Advance and aBox 2 endoscopy systems, you are able to simultaneously use two of our airway visualization devices, without needing two separate screens.

Continuous visualization from two separate devices can reduce task complexity and support airway management techniques and difficult airway algorithms.

SureSight is designed for fast and easy exchange of blades. You’ll hear an audible click, so you can be sure it is properly attached.  

The integrated LED light and anti-fog lens provide a clear and consistent image, and you can capture patient imaging data with the easy-to-reach video/camera button on the handle.  

A comprehensive range of blades in adult and pediatric sizes are provided as part of the portfolio, which can be used for routine and difficult intubations in both planned and emergency procedures. The portfolio includes Miller, Mactinosh, Hyper-angulated and Channeled Hyper-angulated options. 

aScope 4 Broncho has been used in over 3.5 million cases. It is a tried and tested solution that offers the portability and essential performance needed for procedures ranging from intubations and thoracic anaesthesia in the OR to routine bronchoscopy in the ICU.

aScope 5 Broncho offers high performance and flexibility with a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic scope sizes for advanced bronchoscopies.

Our VivaSight 2 DLT solutions are similar in design to conventional double and single lumen tubes, but they have a built-in video camera that connects to the aView 2 Advance endoscopy system. This enables continuous visualization that increases patient safety and improves workflow.

SureSight Connect streamlines work with patient imaging data

The Ambu endoscopy systems offer connectivity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) to simplify your work with patient imaging data and documenting your procedures.

  • Easily view patient data before the procedure.
  • Transfer your recorded patient imaging to the PACS after the procedure. If PACS is not available in your department, you can transfer all patient imaging and procedure information files to your hospital's local network drive (SMB).
  • No additional personnel or equipment are needed.
  • When using SureSight Mobile, the playback feature allows recording of intubation to be reviewed without needing to transfer files.

One way we have advanced in the area of sustainability is by introducing new materials in our products and packaging that have a lower carbon footprint:

  • PC bioplastic material in the SureSight video laryngoscope blades* 
  • ABS bioplastic material in our endoscope handles** 
  • 100% bioplastic material in laryngeal mask cuff protectors

*Our PC bioplastic material (using bio-attribution) has 55% second-generation bio-based feedstock and 45% traditional fossil-based feedstock (certified under mass-balance)  
**Based on cradle-to-gate LCAs on the raw material from the supplier comparing ABS plastic made with 100% fossil-based feedstock with our bioplastic ABS material, which consists of 50% second-generation bio-based feedstock and 50% fossil-based feedstock. This does not translate to 70% savings for the carbon footprint of the full lifecycle for the finished good.
